Grandma's Little House is a wonderful way to keep the childrens' special friends and other necessities organized and ready for play. Bearing a striking resemblance to our original Grandma's House, the stuffed animal house may be constructed with or without a chimney.

It also has a floor, making it a movable toybox. The plans are simple and putting it together is a breeze.

This makes a very unique gift idea. The style of fabrics can be chosen to complement a child's room, theme, or to match the toddler playhouse.

The instructions, ideas and templates enclosed are just a starting off point. Personalize it for your special little one!

When made with the chimney as shown, the toys or stuffed animals go down the chute for storage and then are brought out through the front door for play. The windows can be made of clear vinyl, if you wish to show off the contents.

It is a good idea to keep an eye on the glasses and car keys, as clean-up takes on a whole new meaning!

All the Grandma's House Patterns were inspired by Stephanie's original house her Grandmother made, 18 years ago. The house patterns feature a sloped roof, batted shingles, flowers, grass 'landscaping' and cottage style trim.

Each has removable curtains with drawback ties, which make changing the inside decor a snap.

Also added a picket fence, window boxes with batted flowers and a little caterpillar.

All houses were designed so basic sewing skills, a standard machine and iron are all that would be needed. No special tools or materials are needed for the frame.

All of the patterns include complete sewing instructions, illustrations, templates, 'PVC' plans and materials list.

The house may be removed from the frame and is meant to be machine washable. The house and frame can be taken down and put back together easily.

PVC Frame   

Complete instructions for building a frame from PVC tubing are included in each of the patterns.  When built to the plans , the frame can be taken apart and stored flat. The largest glued section is about 40" square.     

The PVC pipe is simple to cut using inexpensive tools.  There are no special techniques or equipment needed.  The joints are 'glued' using the solvent bought at the same place as the pipe and fittings.  All the fittings are standard and should be available at any hardware store.
